Results
The mean overall fibers analyzed for area measurement was 542 ± 196 SD and for fiber type count was 412 ± 124 SD for myosin type 1- positive fibers, 456 ± 162 SD for type 2-positive fibers and 435 ± 160 SD for embryonic positive fibers. All sections analyzed were cut close to where BUP injection was performed, 6 mm from insertion.
